Before coming to T\u00fcbingen, she was a research fellow at the Center for the History of Emotions at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin (2008-2011). Her research areas include &#8216;material religion&#8217;, i.e. images, sounds, aesthetics and bodily practices of various forms of Christianity from 1800 to the present, and the historical and cultural variability of emotions.
