Duncan<\/h3>\n<p>Wilfrid Laurier University<\/p>\n<p>Carol B. Duncan is professor of Religion and Culture at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her research focuses on Caribbean religions in transnational contexts, the African Diaspora, religion and popular culture and women\u2019s and gender studies. She has also participated in public conversations as a lecturer, panelist and commentator in a variety of media including newspapers and magazines, television, documentary film and radio. Prof. Duncan is the author of <em>This Spot of Ground: Spiritual Baptists in Toronto<\/em> (Wilfrid Laurier University Press, 2008), co-author of <em>Black Church Studies: An Introduction<\/em> (Abingdon Press, 2007) and contributing editor to <em>The Encyclopedia of Caribbean Religions<\/em> (University of Illinois Press, 2013). She is co-editor of <em>Womanist and Black Feminist Responses to Tyler Perry\u2019s Productions<\/em> (Palgrave MacMillan, 2014). Her latest publication is the co-edited book <em>The Black Church Studies Reader<\/em> (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016).
